The Aquaculture Research Station’s biggest research contribution has been with farm-raised crawfish, helping producers grow and harvest more efficiently and economically. Scientists also conduct research on catfish, oysters, alligators, baitfish, turtles and a variety of freshwater game fish. The goal is to make the industry more competitive in the global economy. |
