The 2009 Area Commodity Cookery Contest was held in Jennings on Wednesday, Marcy 25, at the Jeff Davis Multi-Purpose Building. Results are attached.

Seventh-grade 4-H members from around Iberia Parish recently were given the opportunity to experience 4-H Challenge Camp. Challenge Camp was held April 15-17 at the LSU AgCenter's Grant Walker 4-H Educational center in Pollock, La. 4-H Challenge Camp allows youth to experience various challenges from a hands-on approach.

The ninth annual Iberia 4-H Foundation Golf Tournament was held Friday, April 24, 2009, at Sugar Oaks Golf Country Club in New Iberia. All proceeds from this annual event go toward funding the Iberia Parish 4-H program.
