2009 Awards Day
| | SET in action! Youth launch catapults at West Carroll Parish 4-H Awards Day. |
| | 4-H junior leaders enhanced their leadership skills by leading the breakout sessions at the parish 4-H Awards Day. |
| | 4-H Horse Project youth explained their project to 4-H'ers attending West Carroll 4-H Awards Day. Demonstrations were given on riding events, and questions were answered about horses. |
| | After explaining their project activities, poultry project youth led the 4-H'ers in a friendly game of egg-toss. |
| | 4-H'ers learned that a coat hanger, two rubber bands and a plastic spoon can be used to create a catapult that actually works! |
| | | The 4-H Beef Project is explained by a fifth-grade 4-H'er. Not only did this youth provide a project demonstration but he helped recruit more livestock youth. |
| | Teamwork and communication developed as groups competed to build the tallest balloon tower. |
| | Everyone must do their job in the bullring activity. Youth learned the importance of communication. |
| | 4-H Awards Day is designed for parish youth demonstrating project completion by either completing a portfolio or competing at 4-H Demonstration Day. Winners are announced at Awards Day. |
