Eight West Baton Rouge 4-H leaders attended 4-H Area Leader Training, based on the theme, “The Road to Success” on Tuesday, September 25, 2007, at the LSU Mini-Farm, sponsored by the LSU AgCenter.

The 2007 4-H Food & Fitness Board, sponsored by the LSU AgCenter, hosted a workshop, based on the theme “Jumping Jungles” at the 4-H office, October 17, 2007.

Youth from across Louisiana attended the 93rd annual 4-H University, held June 21st – 22nd , sponsored by the LSU AgCenter. Eighteen West Baton Rouge Parish youth participated in this event held on the campus of Louisiana State University.

EFNEP
The mission of EFNEP is to empower limited income families with young children to make informed decisions about food purchasing, food safety and meal management. Upon completion of the program, participants should be able to solve problems related to the family's food dollar and meal management which, in turn, will help them become more efficient in meeting family needs.
