Mr. Harles Smart of Smart & Sons Funeral Home served as the guest speaker for the November meeting of the Vernon Parish 4-H Teen Leader Club. He not only spoke on his profession with the funeral business, he also spoke to the teens about the importance of education. The Vernon Parish 4-H Teen Leader Club meets once a month to plan community service/service learning projects, leadership development and career exploration.
