Do you like to cook? Do you like experimenting with new recipes? Well, we have a contest for you! And it's all on Monday, November 23, 2009.

Mark that date of the annual 4-H Food Festival, which will be held at the Leesville Junior High Cafeteria. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. The divisions are: Egg Cookery, Seafood Cookery, Poultry Cookery, Beef Cookery, Pecan Cookery, Sweet Potato Cookery and Wild Game Cookery.

If you are interested in entering any of these contests (and you may enter as many as you like), please talk with your 4-H leader today for the specific requirements and rules -- or see the files listed below for more details. Now is the time to begin pulling out those old family recipes. Let’s get cooking!
