Twelve youth from across Vernon Parish recently competed at the District 4-H Commodity Cookery in Alexandria.

Vernon Parish 4-H members recently brought home the Championship Saw from the State 4-H Woodsman Skills competition at the Louisiana Forestry Festival in Winnfield.

Pickering Junior and Senior 4-H Clubs enjoy pizza and treats provided by March of Dimes and the Vernon Parish 4-H Teen Leader Club. The pizza party was designed to recognize the club members that helped earn over $2000.00 for March of Dimes.
