On April 4-5, 30 4-H'ers from St. Martin Parish participated in the Southern Regional 4-H Shooting Sports at the Tallow Creek Shooting Grounds in Goodbee.

Thirty senior 4-H club members represented St. Martin Parish during the 94th annual state 4-H University competition held at LSU, Baton Rouge.There were three state winners and 19 blue ribbon winners.

St. Martin Parish exhibitors participated in the Tri-Parish Horse Show on June 9, 2008 at the Sugarena in New Iberia.

St. Martin Parish 4-H members displayed the culinary customs of their families as they competed in the area 4-H Commodity Cookery contest held in Crowley on March 31, 2008

These photographs were taken at 4-H Challenge Camp. Activities included a boat building contest, painting and installing 4 houses for bats, planting of irises and pitcher plants in a wetland area of the campground.

St. Martin 4-Hers 7th graders attended Challenge Camp at Grant Walker , Pollock , LA on March 27-29, 2008. 15 club members participated.

In each grade division outstanding record book winners, runner ups and honorable mention record books are selected. Awards are presented to 4-H club members at Achievement Day. Here are the winners for 2008.
