The St. Martin Parish 4-H and FFA Livestock Show and Sale was held on January 18 & 19, 2007. Fifty-two exhibitors participated with their market and breeding animals. Results are posted.

The St. Martin Commodity Cookery Contest was held on November 10, 2007 at Breaux fBridge Jr. High. Fifty-five 4-H club members entered dishes in the following categories: Sugar, seafood, beef and rice.

The annual 4-H Pet Show was held on Saturday, October 27, 2007. There were 45 4-H club members participating in the categories of cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, firsh and any other pet.

4-H Agents along with 24 4-H Junior Leaders conducted two officer training workshops to teach 4-H'ers how to conduct a club meeting.

4-H club members participated in the National 4-H Week Poster Contest. Best Theme and Overall posters were chosen. Participants were awarded blue, red and white ribbons.

This calendar consist of monthly events and activities, with dates planned for the August 2007 to July 2008 4-H year.

L'Ecrivisse is the St. Martin 4-H Monthly Newsletter distributed to all 4-H club members at the monthly 4-H club meetings. It contains a calendar of events, information on upcoming 4-H activities, contest and local 4-H news.

4-H Junior Leaders enrollment form must be completed and turn in to 4-H Office to be a member of the St. Martin Parish Jr. Leader Club.
