Youthful chefs practiced their food preparation and presentation skills for the annual St. Landry Parish 4-H Food Festival Day held at St. Ignatius Saturday, December 1, 2007. The 4-H members prepared special dishes at home to be judged in the different food exhibit contests. Contestants also participated in a Consumer Foods Judging Contest.
While exhibits were being judged, participants were able to participate in a 4-H Food and Nutrition Workshop presented by Alison Muller, 4-H Agent and 4-H Junior Leader Members. Judges for this activity included: Grace Miller, Cheryl Stelly, Mary Ann Dugal, Joanne Costanza, Yvonne Normand, Theresa Bizette, Kaye Roberts, Gerald Roberts, Darlene Hackler and Judy Young.
