St. James Parish October 4-H Newsletter

A series of information on ways to celebrate National 4-H Week October 5-12.

The Washington Youth Tour a weeklong, all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D. C. This trip is open to high school students across Louisiana.

Newsletter for 4-H Club members in St. James Parish. This newsletter gives the latest news about ongoing 4-H programs and activities in the parish. September topics include: National 4-H Week, parish calendar, officer training, junior leaders, project clubs, camp slogan contest, livestock news, pet show, state service-learning project and summer fun.

The 2009-2010 calendar lists the date, time and monthly meeting schedule for each club. Also included is a rundown of planned activities and contact information for 4-H leaders.

A form for all clubs to submit to the 4-H office indicating whether their club will participate in Achievement Day events such as 4-H Banner, Song or Yell Contest, and Group Talent.

The St. James Parish 4-H Food Fest has been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 13, and will be held in conjunction with the St. James Parish Bonfire Festival.
