National 4-H Week Celebrated in St. James Parish
National 4-H Week was celebrated all across St. James Parish the week of October 3-9, 2010. School 4-H clubs decorated schools, put up outdoor displays, held various contests and much more. Club members treated teachers and student bodies to green beverages and green and white treats and hosted special activities.
4-H club members were rewarded for their club efforts with treats and dress down days -- of course the colors of choice were green and white. Crazy 4-H hats and character costumes and displays also were part of the celebrations. Senior high clubs even gave out 4-H sport bottles at football games.
Everyone had a great time and the week was indeed a 4-H celebration.
