The St. James Parish 4-H Food Fest will be held Tuesday Nov. 23, 2010, in conjunction with the 4-H Idol at Paulina Elementary. Contests include Egg Cookery, Ground Beef Cookery, Seafood Cookery, Poultry Cookery and Sugar Cookery.

All 4-H’ers are eligible to participate and may enter only one dish per contest. Parish winners may be eligible to compete in District Cookery Contests in March 2011 or April 2011. Be sure to read the attached rules and regulations very carefully! Remember to label your dishes and bring a neat well-written or typed copy of your recipe with your name and schoolprinted on the back.

NOTE: All dishes (with the exception of cookies, candies and some cakes) must be brought to the contest cold (on ice and in an ice chest.)
