Regional Challenge Camp will be held Nov. 2-4, 2010, in Springfield, Louisiana at Tickfaw State Park. . This camp is for seventh-eighth grade members only.
For this 2010 camp, space will be very limited, especially for the girls. If too many members register for camp, the following procedure will be followed in assigning spaces. First choice will be given to outstanding club member award winners from the previous year. Second choice will be given to members who have completed their 4-H portfolio and a project book, followed by members who have completed their project book only but not their portfolio. Also, preference will go to those members who have not yet attended Regional Challenge Camp.
The basic cost for camp is $40. This includes camp fees, transportation (school bus), meals, lodging and a T-shirt.
If you are interested in attending camp this on Nov. 2-4, 2010, please click on the link below for the registration form, print it, completely fill out the form and return it by Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, to your 4-H school leader or to the St. Charles 4-H Office at 1313 Paul Maillard Rd.; Suite E; Luling (located in the CVS Shopping Center). Payment and application can be mailed to the following mailing address: St. Charles 4-H, PO Box 1766, Luling, LA 70070. You must include a $25 deposit with your application. Your deposit will be deducted from your total camp fees. This deposit is not refundable if you do not attend Camp!
Once you have sent in your registration form, you will receive a letter from the 4-H office around Oct. 22, 2010. This letter will include important information about camp as well as a Health Form that your parent or caregive will have to complete and return to the 4-H office. If you have problems affording the cost of camp, this letter will also give you the option to discuss a payment plan with the 4-H Agent.
