2007 4-H Pet Show
The second annual St. Bernard Parish 4-H Pet Show was held on October 13, 2007 at Chalmette High School. Working in cooperation with the St. Bernard Veterinary Hospital, St. Bernard Parish 4-H Club members, showcased a wide variety of pets ranging from dogs and cats to snakes and pot belly pigs.
The purpose of the pet show was for 4-H members to learn how important it is to be a responsible pet owner. Participants were judged by Dr. Donald Duplantier of the St. Bernard Veterinary Hospital, along with other veterinary assistants, on how well they took care of their pets and how much they knew about their friendly counterparts.
