The following listed Red River Parish 4-H’ers attended summer camp from June 25-29, 2007: Joshua Adams, Michael Arnold, Kade Anderson, Rae Lynn Brown, Patray Darby, Patrick Darby, Caitlin Finton, Tyler Gulledge, Cory Maxwell, Jr., Jenna Nelson, Ashleigh Nolen, Tyler McCartney, Latesa Moore, Damien Post, Chelsey Russell, Grace Shaver, Gretchen Shaver, Bobby Sims, Jahron Speed, Chimera Stewart, Natalie Webb and Hunter Young. Also attending were 4-H’ers Christian Campbell, D. J. Rambin and Alicia Walsworth who served as counselors. Thanks to Paula Walsworth for driving our bus.

This year’s camp theme was “Live it now. Remember it forever!” Our campers will never forget the time they spent canoeing, dancing, playing games, swimming and hanging out with friends. Four-H Camp Grant Walker is always the best place for summer fun, especially this summer. It’s 4-H Camp’s 85th Birthday. This facility is the oldest 4-H camp in the South and is located on Hwy. 8 in Pollock, 20 miles north of Alexandria.

Red River Parish agents Cindy Smith and David Yount, Jr., are making exciting plans for

4-H in 2007-2008. If you would like information or have any questions please call the LSU AgCenter, Red River Parish office at 932-4342.
