Vanilla Blueberry Trifle

blueberry dish
Blueberries add a pretty color to recipes.
  • 2 boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 4 cups 1% milk
  • 1 frozen pound cake
  • 1 can blueberry pie filling
  • 1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds or pecans (optional)
Prepare pudding according to package directions. Refrigerate the pudding. Cut pound cake into cubes and place in the bottom of a 2-quart trifle bowl. Top the cake with the pudding, then the pie filing, then the whipped topping. As a garnish, top the trifle with sliced nuts.
