Jambalaya Mix

1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
1 tablespoon dried green pepper flakes 
2 teaspoons dried parsley flakes
2 teaspoons beef flavored bouillon granules
1 teaspoon celery flakes
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon dried thyme
¼ teaspoon ground red pepper

Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container. Makes 1 ¼ cup.
To use: Combine rice mix, 2 cups water and one 8 ounce can tomato sauce in a Dutch oven. Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Stir in 1 pound sliced sausage and 1 cup chopped cooked ham. Heat through.

Makes 6 servings.
