"Almost" Stuffed Cabbage

Almost Stuffed Cabbage
Quincy Cheek demonstrated how to prepare "Almost" Stuffed Cabbage on Jambalaya Morning Show-News Channel 5.
The ingredients are simply mixed and placed in a electric rice cooker which cooks the dish automatically, saving time and energy. You will have the delicious taste of cabbage rolls without any of the trouble, and you'll be promoting local agriculture at the same time.

3 cups shredded cabbage
1 cup uncooked rice
1/2 cup water
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
1 (14 1/2 oz) can diced tomatoes, drained
1/2 pound lean ground beef, uncooked
1/2 pound sausage, sliced thin
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients in a rice cooker. Set on "cook"setting. When rice cooker switches to "warm" setting, stir and allow to set for 10 minutes.
