Summer Splash Fair
The city of Alexandria sponsored the Summer Splash Fair at the Convention Hall on May 8, 2008. Jane Jones, Family and Consumer Science agent with the LSU AgCenter and Debra Jackson, Parent Educator with the Southern AgCenter participated in the event. There were other organizations present that offered a variety of information and services.
The event gave participants information on services offered in Rapides Parish for parents and children. Jane Jones shared Character Education brochures from the LSU AgCenter. Debra Jackson provided parenting resources to the participants and also youth activities information.
