Lunch 'N Learn Spring Series

The LSU AgCenter will host the Lunch & Learn Spring Series 2011 titled “Happier, Healthier You!” All sessions will be held at noon at the LSU AgCenter in Alexandria. Please call our office for directions 318-767-3969. The events are free and open to the public.
There is a $6 charge for lunch, but you may bring you own lunch if you would like to and attend the session free of charge. All participants must RSVP at least one week prior to the event by calling 318-767-3969.
- January 26, 2011: Laughter, the Best Medicine! Speaker: Michael Pate, Local Author
- February 23, 2011: Lovin’ Louisiana Light – Healthier Versions of LA Recipes featured, along with Zydeco Dance Demonstrations from Gloria Nye, LSU AgCenter Extension Agent St. Landry Parish
- March 30, 2011: Diabetes 101 with Shelly Barton, CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital
- April 27, 2011: Relax & Enjoy! Speaker: Katy Johnson, Licensed Massage Therapist
- May 25, 2011: Store it Right – Home Food Preservation with retired Home Economist, Lou Altazan-Brown
