2011 Forestry Forum Information

The Cenla Forestry Forum will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011, at the State Evacuation Shelter off Highway 71 South in Alexandria, Louisiana. Several extension agents and speakers from state and local government will give updates forestry landowners and the public regarding issues affecting the forestry industry in Louisiana. Topics will include: Louisiana One Call; update on the use of woody biomass in electric power; landowner surface rights and damages for oil and gas; invasive species; and new feral hog control regulations.
An agenda and registration form is attached below.
The registration fee is $25 per person if received by Feb. 18, 2011. The fee is $30 per person after Feb. 18, 2011.
