Central Louisiana 4-H Horse Camp
Twenty-seven 4-H'ers from Central Louisiana attended the 4-H Horse Camp on March 24-25, 2008 at the C. Woodrow Dewitt Sr. Livestock Facility near LSU-A. The 4-H'ers participated in activities with their horses to improve their riding skills, and become better horsemen. Other topics covered were nutrition, health, proper equipment, and what to look for when purchasing a horse.
