On November 17, 2007, 50 4-H members and their friends and families attended Gameday with NSU Football. There were 4-H members from Natchitoches, Winn and Grant Parishes.
The group enjoyed a tailgate before the game with games, music and food from the National Guard. Some members also dared to climb the rock wall.
The NSU Demons took on Stephen F. Austin in a battle for the Indian. We enjoyed watching NSU as they defeated SFA.
A special thanks to NSU and their athletic marketing department for being such wonderful hosts. We already have another event scheduled with NSU Athletics.
On January 31st , we will hold NSU Demon Basketball Night as the NSU Men take on in state rivals Nicholls State at 6:30 pm in Prather Coliseum. Tickets will go on sale December 5th and are $5.00 each. 4-H members must be accompanied by an adult to the game.
Our goal: 100 4-H Members at the game in conjunction with Louisiana 4-H’s 100th Birthday celebration starting in 2008!
