| 2008 4-H Beef and Egg Cookery Winners The 2008 Natchitoches Parish 4-H Beef and Cookery Contest was held September 27, 2008, during the Natchitoches Parish Fair and Rodeo. Twenty-four contestants competed for the chance to advance to the Area Cookery Contest, which is being held this spring at Northwestern State University. This will be the first time Natchitoches and NSU will host the areawide event. |

| Standard of Excellence Award The Natchitoches Parish Standard of Excellence Award is given to those deserving 4-H’ers who participate at an extraordinary level. This participation includes things on a club, parish, regional and state-wide level. These 4-H’ers will be recognized during the awards banquet in May.
