Natchitoches Parish will be attending 4-H Camp June 206, 2008 at Camp Grant Walker located in Pollock, LA. 4-H Camp offers boys and girls, grades 4-6, an opportunity to enjoy summer camping at its best. Kids learn valuable life skills, participate in outdoor activities and make new friends. Campers enjoy recreational activities such as: swimming, canoeing, Archery, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Kickball Ping Pong, Parachute Games, Line Dancing, Drama, Arts & Crafts, & much more. Campers also choose from 5 activity tracks to participate in during camp. These tracks include: Outdoor Adventures, FUN: Food, U & Nutrition, Tech World, Dramatic Arts and CSI: Wet & Wild Nature Adventure. And don’t forget about the evening programs; which includes a dance each night, swimming and movie time! 4-H Camp offers something for everyone, 4-H members and non 4-H members alike.
4-H Camp is $140.00 to attend with scholarships available. The fee includes room, meals/snacks, transportation to and from camp, t-shirt and 2 camp pictures.
Registration deadline is Friday, April 25, 2008 by 4:30 pm to the 4-H office at 624 Second Street, Natchitoches, LA 71457. This includes registration form, scholarship form and deposit of $70.00. Forms can be found online under the “Forms” section of the Natchitoches Parish 4-H webpage at www.lsuagcenter.com.
