Iberville Parish Centennial Celebration
100 years

Don't miss the biggest birthday bash ever. Come celebrate 100 years of 4-H in Louisiana on Saturday, May 10, 2008, at the Mike Zito Multipurpose Facility located in Plaquemine, LA. All 4-H members, families, and alumni are invited. View 4-H members as they exhibit their favorite pets in the annual Pet Show to be held in conjunction with the celebration. Register for free door prizes, camp registration, 4-H University registration, and savings bonds. Join us for a day of celebration and fun!

2007-2008 Iberville Parish 4-H Clubs
The Iberville Parish 4-H program is currently operating in partnership with the School Board and have active 4-H Clubs at each school in the parish. The 4-H program is the largest youth development organization which services over 6,500,000 nationally, 170,000 in Louisiana and over 700 in Iberville Parish. The parish program is coordinated by the 4-H Agents, Kimberly Jones & Shannon Dietz.

Iberville: Rich in Culture and History
Oak Tree
Iberville Parish is a large rural area in southeast Louisiana and is divided by the mighty Mississippi River. Iberville consists of 620 square miles and has a population of 30,000 residents. The parish extends south to White Castle, east to St. Gabriel and Carville, through the parish seat of Plaquemine and north to the villages of Grosse Tete, Rosedale and Maringouin.
