2009 Sugarcane Rabbit Show Results

The 2009 4-H Sugarcane Rabbit Show was held Saturday, September 26, in conjunction with the Sugarcane 4-H Livestock Show at SugArena in New Iberia. The 4-H rabbit project helps 4-H members gain knowledge and skills concerning rabbits. Also this project provides 4-H members opportunities to learn life skills through participation in a series of learning experiences. 4-H'ers must care daily for their rabbits and work with them in preparation for rabbit shows. 2009 State 4-H Livestock Show Results

The annual State 4-H Livestock Show was held at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, LA February 14-21, 2009. Iberia Parish was well represented with 4-H'ers participating in breeding, commercial heifer, market animals and showmanship events. Four-H'ers also participated in the State 4-H Broiler Show and Poultry Showmanship as well as the Premeir Exhibitor Contests. Complete results are included.

After February 17, 2009, full-power TV stations will broadcast only in digital. The DTV transition will affect those who watch free over-the-air television (through a rooftop antenna or "rabbit ears"). Please see attached to find what you need to know about DTV.
