2008 Sugarcane Judging/Exhibiting Contests Information

The Sugarcane Festival will be held September 25-27, 2008 in New Iberia. In conjunction with this event the annual Sugarcane Exhibits and the Sugarcane Judging Contest will take place. Specific information including locations and times are included.

2008 Iberia 4-H Foundation Golf Tournament Results

The Iberia Parish 4-H Foundation held its 8th annual golf tournament Friday, April 25, 2008 at Sugar Oaks Country Club.

2008 4-H Achievement Day Contest Divisions

The annual 4-H Achievement Day will be held Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Westgate High School beginning at 8:45 a.m. with a general assembly. Four-H'ers from throughout the parish participate in various contests. A Fashion Revue will be held at 10:30 a.m. for those 4-H'ers who made a garment and an awards program will be held at approximately 10:45 recognizing those 4-H'ers who excelled during the year.

2008 Spring 4-H Rabbit Show

The annual 4-H Spring Rabbit Show will be held February 2, 2008 at SugArena.

2008 4-H Contest Day Rules

The annual 4-H Contest Day will be held at Iberia Middle School on Saturday, January 19, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Iberia Parish 4-H'ers are encouraged to participate in the various contests.

2007 Journey Into Jobs

Iberia Parish 4-H'ers may participate in this career-seeking contest by interviewing individuals from a diverse group of employers. Contest will be held at Sugarland Elementary, December 6, 2007.

2008 Iberia 4-H Fashion Review

The Iberia 4-H Fashion Review will be held January 19, 2008 at Iberia Middle School in New Iberia. Any 4-H member interested may participate in this event. Attached are rules and entry forms.

2007 4-H Sugar Cookery Contest

The annual 4-H Sugar Cookery Contest will be held in conjunction with the Sugarcane Festival and Fair on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Cyr-Gates Community Center located in New Iberia City Park.
