Beef Breeding, Steer and Commercial Heifer Show

ENTRY FEES -- $15 per animal by September 26; $25 per animal after September 26
SHOWMANSHIP FEES-- $5.00 paid at entry to ring
- Show is open to all bonafide 4-H and FFA junior exhibitors of beef breeding livestock. Breeds will be represented if they have 10 or more head entered by September 26. Breeds with less than 10 entries by September 26 will show AOB.
- Registration and check-in from 7:00 - 8:30 AM the morning of the show. Must have registration papers and health forms at check-in.
- Commercial heifers must arrive on Friday, October 10. Check-in and weigh-in from 4:00 – 8:00 PM
- Showmanship will begin at 9:00 AM. There is a $5.00 entry fee and there will be 3 divisions; Junior ( 9-11 yrs. old), Intermediate (12-14 yrs. old), and Senior (15 and older). Belt buckles will be awarded to division champions.
- Breed show will follow showmanship with show order to be determined after the September 26 deadline.
- 2009 LSU Spring Show general rules will be followed.
- Awards will be presented to the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion in each breed .
- There will be 2 rings for both the breed show and showmanship.
- Animals may begin arriving at 4:00 PM Friday, October 10.
