4-H Challenge Camp for 7th & 8th Graders

MARCH 6-8, 2009
APPLICATION FORMS DUE IN 4-H OFFICE BY WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2009

FOR: 7th and 8th Grade 4-H Club Members

WHERE: Camp Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center, Pollock, Louisiana

WHAT: Challenge Camp, an exciting weekend filled with challenging games and activities

GOAL: To challenge 7th & 8th graders to set high personal goals as a result of the activities presented that weekend.

FEE: $50 per person for camp fee (two nights with five meals and simple nutritious snacks, transportation and accident insurance). A Challenge Camp T-Shirt will be available. The T-shirt information will be sent to the camper at a later date.

After the application deadline of February 4, 2009, you will be notified by letter as to whether you have been accepted or if your name will be placed on a waiting list.  If there are cancellations, the waiting list will be used to fill the openings.  If you still do not go to camp, your money will be refunded.  This camp is open to all 7th-8th grade 4-H'ers regardless of race, creed, color, sex or origin.

Challenge Camp is designed for students at the 7th and 8th grade levels. We hope to help you develop, a positive self-concept, better decision-making and communications skills, and also have FUN doing it. We want you to realize how much potential you have and how much you can do.
