2007 Cotton Pickin' Pet Show Results

The 4-H Cotton Pickin Pet Show was held on Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at the Ville Platte Civic Center. There were more than 100 pets entered in the show this year. A congratulations going out to all 4-H club members participating in this annual event.

The judges for the event were: Tami Courville, Ashley Clark, Veronica Soileau, Lisa Ortego, Lacey Fontenot and Tina Dupre of Evangeline Bank and Trust. Sandy Veillon coordinated the judges and organized treats for exhibitors and pets. They are employees of the Evangeline Bank and Trust Company, which gave time from work to assist with Evangeline Parish 4-H Pet Show and donated supplies for this activity. They volunteered their time and efforts and did an excellent job. A special THANKS to each of them.

A special THANKS also to Marsha Ramirez for volunteering her time and efforts at the pet show.

The 4-H Cotton Pickin Pet Show is co-sponsored by the Cotton Festival Association, the Evangeline Bank and Trust Company, and the Louisiana Cooperative Extension Service, a branch of the LSU Agriculture Center.
