LSU AgCenter launches new 4-H Web site aimed at 4th-6th graders
(Distributed 10/22/08) A new Web site, Louisiana 4-H Kids’ Clubhouse, will be officially launched at the State Fair of Louisiana on Oct. 29 during 4-H Fun Day, according to Mark Tassin, director of 4-H and youth programs at the LSU AgCenter. The site at www.4-Hclubhouse.com is tailored to fourth through sixth graders and features nearly a hundred games, quizzes, downloadable activities and videos.

Shooting Sports Instructors Need
The local parish 4-H Program is looking for a few, good men and women to volunteer their time as instructors in the fairly-new 4-H Shooting Sports Program.

2008 Teen Leader Weekend Challenges Youth
Teens Receive Instructions on rock wall climb

Seventeen East Feliciana 4-H youth and ROTC cadets from Jackson High and Clinton High were challenged with a variety of activities during the recent 4-H Sponsored Teen Leader Weekend, held at Feliciana Retreat Center May 23 and 24.

4-H University
Youth, ages 13-19 years as of December 31, 2007, are invited to explore this unique activity designed around the Baton Rouge LSU Campus and involving State level contests for the "competitor" or participation in current and up-to-date, team-oriented workshops.
