4-H In East Feliciana

East Feliciana Parish has active 4-H clubs at each public school and Silliman Institute. Enrollment is open to all 4th through 12th grade students who reside in East Feliciana Parish or attend school in East Feliciana Parish. All school 4-H clubs meet during school hours at the school once a month. The East Feliciana Community 4-H Club is open to students who are home schooled or attend a private school, other than Silliman Institute, and reside in East Feliciana Parish. Meetings are held  once a month September to April. Contact the 4-H Office at 225-683-3101 for meeting times and dates.

Youth who are not able to participate in monthly-meeting clubs can join as Members-at-Large and still receive the same benefits and opportunities as "club meeting" members (see 4-H Newsletters & Photo Gallery).

The 4-H Archery and Shotgun Clubs, special-interest clubs, will begin meeting after school or on the weekend in the near future; more info on these Clubs will be publicized in the schools and the community at a later date.

Other types of special interest, 4-H groups will include a junior leader oriented club, based in the 5th Day and 21st Century After School Programs; teens in the 8th-12th grades are invited to join. Parish youth, who will be enrolling in Shooting Sports, Horses, and other specific project areas, will be looking for a few, good men and women to volunteer their time as instructors.
