Three, East Feliciana 4-H Adult Volunteers recently participated in an annual Area 4-H Volunteer Leader Forum held September 25 on the LSU Campus in Baton Rouge.
According to Kenneth Spoto, 4-H Agent with the LSU AgCenter, Danielle Woldt, Ursula Shaw, and Allen Holliday were among the adults from a twelve parish area that participated in such Forum workshops as Character Education in Louisiana, Ideas for Successful 4-H Clubs and Activities, and the new Louisiana Master Volunteer Program. The Forum began with breakfast and group photos. Lunch, a door prize session, a display session, and a question and answers session rounded out the remainder of the day.
The annual Volunteer Leader Forum is one of the many fun and educational activities 4-H Adult Volunteers can participate in. Local, area, state, and national level activities are made available to all 4-H Adult volunteers, and most of the events are sponsored in part or in full by the East Feliciana 4-H Foundation. For more information on volunteering or on other parts of the 4-H Program, phone Spoto at 225-683-3101.
