4-H in East Carroll Parish

4-H is a club...a really big club! The 4-H club is the largest youth organization in the United States! Louisiana has over 85,000 4-H members in more than 1,700 clubs. There are 731 4-H members in East Carroll Parish participating in 13 different clubs that are organized in all the schools.

These demonstrations are performed so that East Carroll Parish producers can see how LSU recommended varieties and cultural practices will perform in their home parish. This is a spring weekend conference for 9th - 12th graders to enhance their leadership, teamwork and communication skills.

This is a spring weekend conference focusing on helping teen leaders improve their skills to become better ambassadors for 4-H.

T.E.A.M. Camp

This is a spring weekend camp designed to challenge 7th and 8th graders.

4-H Camp

4-H Camp is a fun-filled camp where campers will have the opportunity to meet new friends. They will have fun with friends as they enjoy swimming, canoeing, archery and line dancing!

4-H University

4-H University is an opportunity for 4-H members, volunteers, and parents to explore the LSU campus, talk to students and faculty, and learn more about possible career choices. 4-H University has been designed to provide educational and fun experiences.

2007-2008 4-H Newsletters

The 4-H on the Go Newsletter is published during the months of September, October, November, January, February, March and April. It contains information for 4th-12th grade 4-H members relating to activities, events, contests and deadlines.
