| Erich Granier 4-H'er of the Month of May 2008 |
Erich has been a member of 4-H for 3 years. He is a sixth grader at Zachary Christian Academy. He completed the Discovering 4-H project and participated in once a month science school enrichment at his school using the Discovering 4-H project book. He sold fruit trees for a 4-H fund raiser. Erich likes nature and is a Boy Scout. He has shared his knowledge of nature with other 4-H members. Erich has participated in Character Counts! programs and shows great character traits. He is trustworthy and has a desire to help withprojects that help people in many ways. He shows compassion for those in need. He took part in a jump-a-thon for American Heart Association that his 4-H club sponsored for the entire student body of his school. They raised over a $1000 and promoted physical fitness for students and staff at Zachary Christian Academy. Erich’s mother, Sheri is the 4-H leader for Zachary Christian. The Granier family lives in a rural area near Clinton.
