The Calcasieu 4-H Shooting Sports Club is very excited to begin this years activities. This years activities will agian be held at the Lake Charles Gun Club on Ward Line Road south of Lake Charles. The file on the bottom of the page offers directions to the range. All club days are on Satruday and begin at 8:30 a.m. and end around noon. The follows dates are finalized for club day and other in the spring are still to be finalized. They are:
- September 29th - Only old members can attend
- October 16th - 6:30 p.m. Enrollment meeting for New members at 4-H Office
- October 27th - All members
- November 10th
- December 8th
- January 12th
- Feburary TBA
- March TBA - Parish Contest
- March TBA - Invitational Fundrasier
- April TBA - State Contest
4-Hers must remember to bring eye & ear protection to the range. A new rule this year states that all shooting sports particiaptes 10 years & older must be Hunter Ed certified prior to participating in the project. Please check out the LA.
