4-H Day at the Capitol
On June 3, 2009, Beauregard Parish 4-H'ers, along with their parents and 4-H agent Mike LaVergne, participated in the annual 4-H Day at the State Capitol activities. While touring the Capitol grounds, youth listened to speeches from several elected officials and learned about the history of the state Capitol and the Armory. 4-H members also had the opportunity to visit with our elected officials. Youth participating were Randi Adams, Chelsea Bullitt, Victoria Cervera, Davin Chaney, Caleb Elliott, Jesse Elliott, Cameron Granger, Shane Harris, Kelsey Johnson, Raeleigh Joshlin, Chris Lopez, Kalee Lopez, Macee Lopez, Charlene Oneal, Kaylon Pelt and Alexis Sellers. Parents/adults attending were Kathy Elliott, Tammy Lopez, Shawn Lopez and 4-H agent Mike LaVergne.
