Turkey Trot Photo Gallery
On November 17, 2007 at the Avoyelles Public Charter School, 4-Her's and community members gathered together for a little turkey fun. There were education stations set up for participants to visit after the run.
Winners of frozen turkey's in the 1 mile were Karli McCaleb-Plaucheville Elementary and Joseph Juneau-Avoyelles Public Charter School. And frozen turkey winners in the 5K were Joseph Juneau-Avoyelles Public Charter School and Katie Kuplesky also from Avoyelles Public Charter School. The run was a wonderful success.
A special thank you to all of the 4-H Junior Leaders who not only helped manage the fun run by helping at hydration stations but also by designing the Turkey Trot t-shirt with a heart healthy logo. Images from the gallery are below.
