On October 30, 2007 from 5:00-8:00 pm, Avoyelles Parish 4-H held a pumpkin carvin’ at LASAS school. There were hot dogs disguised as mummies and a scrumptious dirt cake. The event started early with junior leaders helping out by cutting the tops off of 120+ pumpkins. 4-Her’s had a great time carving faces and creating creatures out of their pumpkins.
