Assumption Parish 4-H Celebrates 100 Years of 4-H in Louisiana

On Friday, April 11, the Assumption Parish LSU AgCenter hosted a 4-H Centennial Celebration at the parish agriculture facility on Robin Street in Napoleonville.  There were approximately 250 in attendance and a good time was had by all.  There were games for the children, an adult sugar cookery and music by the King Pakayea Band.  Inducted into the Assumption Parish 4-H Hall of Fame were Mr. Eneaux Rivere, Mr. James Templet and the late Mr. Camille Esneault.  Also at this event, all 4-H leaders and supporters were recognized.  The chef for the event's meal was Ms. Kelly Boudreaux.  Thanks to everyone for coming out and showing their support for the 4-H Program in Assumption Parish!
