The April 2008 4-H Clover Chatter provides 4-H'ers and Parents with information on the Assumption Parish 4-H Centennial Celebration, Area Cookery, meetings, Jr. Leader Strawberry fundraiser, Adult and 4-H Garden Contest, 4-H Day at the Capital, 4-H Awards Banquet, 4-H U and information on 4-H Camp.

The Assumption Parish 4-H 2007-08 Cookbook is compiled of recipes taken from the Sugar and Seafood Cookery, Egg and Ground Beef Cookery, and the Poultry Cookery. The recipes are from the winners of each division in each category.

The February 2008 4-H Clover Chatter provides 4-H'ers and Parents with information on the Assumption Parish 4-H Centennial Celebration, Demonstration Days, Garden Contest, Challenge Camp, 4-H Camp, contest results and much more.

On January 3, 2008, the Assumption Parish 4-H held a lock-in for 4th through 7th graders. The lock-in focused on the theme of the 4-H Centennial. The students enjoyed food, games, crafts and a talent search. It was a fun time for all.

The January 2008 4-H Clover Chatter includes information on the following topics: Poultry Cookery, Centennial Essay Contest, Parish Livestock Show, upcoming Centennial Events, Sew with Cotton Contest, Hornets Game, Jr. Leadership Conference and the 4-H Calendar.

Scholarship applications for senior 4-H'ers are due at the Assumption Parish 4-H office by March 10, 2008.

Topics covered include: The 4-H Centennial celebration, the parish livestock show, parish contests, Junior Leaders, award applications and nutrition notes.

Assumption Parish 4-H will be observing the Centennial Celebration throughout 2008.

The Assumption Parish 4-H Program held a "Show Your Pride" display contest during National 4-H Week.
