Environmental Society

The Environmental Society at Louisiana State University is a social, professional and service organization open to any undergraduate or graduate student at LSU, but it is particularly geared for students with an environment-related major. Club activities vary every year but include field trips, talks by environmental professionals and service projects designed to improve or protect the environment. The society works closely with the student chapter of the Air & Waste Management Association. The organization operates from student membership fees, which are $10 a year or $5 a semester, and with donations from sponsors.
