Dr. Clayton Hollier is the extension plant pathologist for all agronomic crops. His research interests include crop loss assessment (plant disease losses) for sheath blight of rice, leaf rust of wheat and common rust of sugarcane.
Dr. Donald Ferrin is the extension plant pathologist for all horticultural crops (turf, ornamentals, fruits, vegetables and sweet potatoes). His appointment is 100% extension and includes statewide responsibility for plant pathology educational programs.
Dr. Charles Overstreet is the extension nematologist for all crops grown in Louisiana, particularly cotton. His areas of interest include developing better management programs, understanding the basic biology of nematodes for management exploitation and innovative technologies.
Dr. Raghuwinder (Nick) Singh is the extension associate/diagnostician responsible for the daily operation of the Plant Disease Diagnostic Clinic. His interests are in disease diagnostics and crop protection.
