Judging teams have long been an excellent way to teach 4-H and FFA members several valuable life skills which can be used throughout their personal and professional lives. Critical thinking, teamwork, public speaking, organizational skills, time management and self-confidence are just a few of the life skills young people can learn by participating in judging teams. Evaluating and selecting livestock, dairy cattle, poultry and meats are also skills which can be extremely valuable in their professional careers.
