Master Gardener Activities
La-Terre Master Gardeners are active throughout Lafourche, Terrebonne, and St. Mary parishes.
Annual Projects and Events:
- TARC Garden and Market Festival
- Vegetable Field Day
- Lady Bug Ball (participant)
Ongoing Projects and Events:
- Assisting with 4-H activities: Achievement Day, Seafood & Sugar Cookery Contest, Poultry Contest, etc.
- Assisting LSU AgCenter office in Thibodaux/Houma
- Habitat for Humanity house landscaping
- Horticultural Leadership Advisory Council
- Junior Master Gardener Program
- Council on Aging - Shady Acres landscape maintenance
