Application

If you enjoy learning new gardening skills and volunteering in the community, please consider applying for the Louisiana Master Gardener Extension Volunteer Program.

The 2008 training for the Louisiana Master Gardener program in Greater New Orleans area will take place June 2 through July 23, 2008. The course includes 15 training sessions held twice weekly.  

To apply, please complete the application form that appears at the bottom of this page. Return the form and your registration fee by May 19, 2008, to the contact listed below. Applicants must be residents of Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines or St. Bernard parish.

Class size is limited, and qualified applicants will be asked to participate in an interview following an initial screening of their application.
