Registration for the Louisiana Master Gardener 2009 State Conference is open to Louisiana Master Gardeners and one guest each through May 1, 2009. The Conference will be held at the Hilton New Orleans Airport Hotel May 21-24, 2009, and is hosted by the Master Gardeners of Greater New Orleans and the LSU AgCenter.
About the Conference
The theme of the four-day conference is "Gardening Renaissance ... What's Old is New Again" and features presentations from 21 national, regional and local experts in the field of horticulture and sustainable gardening practices. In addition to eight general sessions, registrants may select from four breakout tracks:
- The Ornamental Garden
- The Edible Garden
- The Healthy Garden
- The Garden Shed
Attendees are not restricted to any one track and may mix breakout sessions from all tracks.
Conference Costs
The cost for a full conference registration is:
- $135 early-bird registration received by March 31, 2009
- $170 registration received after March 31, 2009
- $220 late registration received after May 1, 2009
and includes:
- all educational programs
- conference meals (special dietary needs will be accommodated)
- hospitality refreshments
- access to vendors and educational displays
- The Garden Party at the New Orleans Botanical Garden on May 21, 2009
- Jazz Reception at the Hilton Hotel on May 22, 2009
Additional fees apply for optional bus transportation to The Garden Party, tours and conference merchandise. You may register for these extra events/purchases when completing your online registration.

How to Register Online
Online registration is provided through the secure Reg Online Web site. To begin your online registration, please click here. You will be asked to secure your registration information with a confidential password.
You may change your registration preferences (breakout sessions, menu preferences, tours, merchandise selections) online through May 1, 2009. However, you will need to know your registration password to make changes.
How to Register by Mail
To submit your conference registration by mail, click here to download the registration form. Your completed registration form along with your check payable to "MGGNO" must be received by May 1, 2009. Mail both your registration form and check to:

Cancelation Policy
An 80% refund will be granted for cancelations made through May 1, 2009.
