Educational Displays LMG09
| | Greater New Orleans exhibit at LMG07 in Lafayette displays project pictures and plaques and promotes their upcoming Garden Show. |
| | | St. Tammany highlights their recent projects with images and narrative on each event. |
| | | Northwest Master Gardeners teach us how to host a garden tour. |
| The 2009 Louisiana Master Gardener State Conference offers Master Gardeners throughout the state a unique opportunity to network and showcase highlights of their recent activities and projects.
We invite each local chapter of the LMG program to share, through an educational exhibit, what your program has been doing within your communities the past year to expand the consumer horticultural outreach ability of the LSU AgCenter. Examples may be activities such as: school gardens, educational presentations given, educational programs developed, garden show coordination, networking with other organizations or groups, 4-H youth-related educational outreach, Junior Master Gardener club development, community service projects, etc.
The Hilton Hotel will provide each LMG exhibitor a skirted 6-foot table. Educational displays may be set up at the Hilton New Orleans Airport on Thursday, May 21, 2009, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. All displays must be dismantled by Saturday, May 23, 2009 at 6 p.m.
If your LMG region plans to display an educational exhibit, please confirm your participation by contacting Kathy Tolliver at 504-838-1170 or e-mailing us at lmg09@agcenter.lsu.edu by April 1, 2009.
